Main and External Monitors script in Keyboard Maestro

Main and External Monitors script in Keyboard Maestro
0

I have a laptop with an external monitor. I am trying to create Keyboard Maestro scripts that open certain windows in certain locations on each monitor. I believe the syntax is to use “Main” for the laptop screen (assuming it’s got the menu bar in System Preferences) and “External” for the other monitor.

Unfortunately the scripts I’m playing around with do not consistently place the windows on the screen I want. As I add more windows in the script, the script seems to be ignoring the “Main” and “External” designation. Not sure if I need to change the order of the script or pause the script to allow certain windows to load.

Thoughts?

You can substitute ‘Main’ with ‘1’ for the far left screen, ‘2’ for the 2nd screen to the right of that, ‘3’ for the 3rd screen, etc.
